Our founder, Angelo Washington, was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. With nothing but a dream and a plan, he came to Denver determined to build a better future. He carried with him the values of hard work, resilience, and the belief that food has the power to bring people together.

From those early days, he poured himself into the vision that would one day become Catfish King. Every late night, every sacrifice, and every recipe tested was a step toward creating not just a restaurant, but a legacy.

When I (Deja Washington) was 18, I joined him on his journey. Now at 25, I'm proud to be by his side-developing and refining recipes, strengthening our operations and helping shape Catfish King into a place known and loved throughout the community. Together, we've turned his dream into our shared reality.

Today, Catfish King stands as a reflection of where we came from and where we're going-a place where tradition meets innovation, and where every guest is treated like family.
